Late update I know, but I have a good reason. I was very lucky last night, as I got to see one of the biggest bands, (and after tonight I’d say they were the biggest) in the world, perform live. Yes, none other than R.E.M.
The gig was held in the ‘Manchester Lancashire County Cricket Club’. Supporting were ‘The Guillemots’ and ‘The Editors’ – Also amazing. The gig lasted from 5.30pm to 10.30pm and was absolutely the best gig I have ever been too! – R.E.M, last night, literally proved they are the best band in the world.
As Michael Stipe would say; “We’re R.E.M and this .. is what we do.”

I saw them in 2003, and that was the best gig ever. Up until last night! Man, they were beyond amazing! The set list, with tunes like “Fall On Me” and “Ignoreland”, and an acoustic “Let Me In” was unbeatable.
