Armin Heinrich: The ‘I Am Rich’ Walkthrough – [Updated].

ALERTWE’VE MOVED TO RAZORIANFLY.COM

[Update] – 10.08.08

It appears, the website which was supposedly managed by Armin Heinrich himself to promote ‘I Am Rich’, has ensured peace of mind of the customers who purchased the application, accidentally (through ‘one-click’), by stating those customers will be fully refunded, soon – Good move Armin, good move.

Original Article:

Well, looks like someone has cracked Apple’s DRM on Heinrich’s pulled application, I am Rich.
Here is a full walk-through of the $999.99 application.

Now you can all see, just what you would of got for your money …
… And I tell you, it’s not pretty.

Unfortunately, due to legal restrictions, I am not allowed to link you to this YouTube video. The reason being is that the video’s description contains a link to a file-sharing site of which you can obtain this application for free, DRM-free.

ALERTWE’VE MOVED TO RAZORIANFLY.COM

[Update] – 08.08.08

Six people in the U.S., one from Germany and one from France bought the $999.99 application.

Original Article:

I updated the original article with this information, but now I have a bit more. It seems one reason the application may have been pulled, is due to an app store review (above).

The words of a no-doubt anxious buyer, having Apple await to deduct the $999.99 owed from his/her account, for … well,
an application which basically has no purpose.

For the time the application was on the App Store, Heinrich surprisingly moved 8 copies, reeling him $5600 in net revenue.

The application has since been pulled from the store with no word from Apple or Armin Heinrich (the developer).

Did Apple come to it’s senses? – I certainly hope so.

[Updatex2]06.08.08

- The application has been pulled off the App Store by either the developer himself, or Apple.

[Update]06.08.08

- I’ve just got word this is now, officially, the most expensive item on the entire iTunes Application Store.
(Time for a graphic change)

Original Article:

‘I Am Rich’, or Armin Heinrich obviously wants to be, with his latest submission to the App Store entitled ‘I Am Rich’ retailing for £599.99.

So Whats all the Fuss About?
Basically ‘I Am Rich’ is a Photo-shopped image of a red diamond. Yes – you heard me, an image, for £599.99. “But – Surely no-one would spend £599.99 on a picture so easily replicated for iPhone, right?” – Wrong. The concept of the application is, if you own it, your rich. Simply as.

Another one for Posh ‘n’ Becks then, it seems.

WARNING: I am now going to provide the link to this application.

Please note: This application is extremely high priced, and if you have one-click buying power on your iTunes account setup, I advise extreme caution to be taken by you, during the 30 seconds you look at this linked page. Also note, that I, Razorianfly (Arron Hirst) am not responsible for ‘accidental’ clicks or purchases of the following item, by you, your dog, pet monkey, nearby rabbit or 10ft Anaconda.
